During this quest, Bakool Ja Ja will challenge Wuk Lamat to a duel. The player will control Wuk Lamat, who has a very simplified set of warrior actions. During the battle, the limit break gauge will periodically fill, giving Wuk Lamat access to Dawnlit Conviction, a strong AoE attack with additional buffs.

Roar: Unavoidable damage and spawns a dangerous AoE at the edge of the arena.
Lethal Swipe: The boss jumps to one side of the arena and uses a late telegraphed 180 degree frontal cleave. Get behind.
Magicked Standard: Spawns five torches, leaving the intercardinals empty.
Kickdown: Telegraphed knockback in the direction of the arrows, also dealing damage. Position to be knocked away from a torch, as they will each use a late telegraphed point-blank AoE (Arcane Activation).
Fireshower: Spawns two sets of circle AoE telegraphs. This is combined with Great Leap, a circle AoE that slowly follows Wuk Lamat and expands to a massive size until it stops moving and locks in.
Magicked Standard: Now spawns six fire torches and three wind torches. Stand underneath a wind torch, as they will use a donut AoE.
Shadow Siblings: Bakool summons three targetable clones of himself. All four enemies will cast Lethal Swipe, but only one will be glowing red (indicating that it is the real Bakool Ja Ja and will use a frontal cleave), while the others will instead explode in late telegraph point-blank AoEs. Get behind the red Bakool.
Riotous Rampage: Sequentially spawns three towers that need to be soaked in the order they spawn.
Magicked Standard will be combined with Kickdown again, but there will be wind torches in addition to fire torches, so position to be knocked back to a wind torch.
Supreme Standard: Spawns four purple torches that will chain Wuk Lamat and immobilize her, while Bakool begins casting a line AoE at her. Complete the Active Time Maneuver to break the chains. Afterwards, Wuk Lamat will automatically use a tank limit break to mitigate Bakool's attack (Might and Magic).
Bakool will summon several targetable Hired Thug adds, which should be defeated with Wuk Lamat's Turali Judgment combo. Meanwhile, untargetable adds will use telegraphed line AoEs (Run Through) at Wuk Lamat, spawn proximity AoE markers (Fireflood), and spawn baited circle AoEs.
Later on, untargetable Doppro Illusionist adds will cast Turali Quake, spawning two sets of circle AoEs that cover the entire arena.
Hunmu Rruk stands quietly, his expression one of old pain.
After divulging the truth of his relation to Wuk Lamat, Hunmu Rruk requests a moment to compose himself. You return to the Garden of the Stars, leaving the Xbr'aax Rax alone with his thoughts.
No sooner do you rejoin Wuk Lamat than one of Bakool Ja Ja's minions arrives to escort Wuk Lamat to an undisclosed location for purposes unknown. Whatever it is, it cannot be good, so Wuk Lamat answers this summons with you as her second. Thus are you led to the Xobr'it Cinderfield, where you discover that a swaggering Bakool Ja Ja holds hostage Hunmu Rruk─whom he exposes as Wuk Lamat's birth father. The elector's release is contingent upon Wuk Lamat placing her keystones on the line and triumphing over Bakool Ja Ja in single combat. All you can do is trust in your friend as she attempts to settle the score with her tormentor once and for all...
Bakool Ja Ja brings to bear the full wrath of blessed siblings, but to little effect. Unable to tolerate the impending defeat of their fearless leader, lackeys and bandits who have tied their fate to the two-headed claimant join the fray─yet Wuk Lamat stands firm. Out of options and out of strength, Bakool Ja Ja flees into the forest, abandoning his prisoner.
Before Wuk Lamat can confirm the truth of her heritage, Hunmu Rruk diverts the conversation, praising her strength as Gulool Ja Ja's daughter. His eyes bespeak a kindness and resolution to leave other words unsaid, which Wuk Lamat no doubt sees as well. Though you cannot know her heart, her smile says enough.
Wuk Lamat has proven to both herself and the world that even when forced to stand alone, she is capable of protecting what is precious to her. Whatever the final feat demands, it is clear that she can rise to the occasion.

To understand and connect with people is by no means easy.
But there is something you can do to pave the way.
Let them see you for who you really are. What makes you laugh and cry and rage. That sort of honesty is the first step towards mutual understanding─and connection.
Do you remember when you first approached us, and we asked you why you wanted to become Dawnservant?
You said you wished to use the knowledge you acquired in Sharlayan for your country─and in doing so repay your father for the opportunities he afforded you.
What won me over was not your ambition, but your motivation.
So let your people know this. And in time, they'll come to support you as we do.
