Shield Oath is an action unlocked by questing at level 30. It is available for Paladin.

History

• Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02): Removed and replaced with   Iron Will.
• Patch 4.0 (2017-06-20):
  • Now acquired at level 30 (previously level 40).
  • No longer increases chance to hit.
• Patch 3.2 (2016-02-23):
  • Use will no longer interrupt weaponskill combos.
  • Damage penalty has been reduced from 20% to 15%.
  • The amount of enmity generated has been increased.
• Patch 2.3 (2014-07-08): The effects of Shield Oath will not be lost upon incapacitation.
• Patch 2.15 (2014-01-20): Fixed an issue wherein the increase enmity effect of Shield Oath would persist when switching to Sword Oath.
• Patch 2.1 (2013-12-17): Enmity generated has been increased.
• Patch 2.0 (2013-08-27): Added.
