Additional Information
Commonly shortened to just "The Observatorium."
It remains unclear if the dragonstar studied at this facility by the Ishgardian astrologians is the same Dragonstar that Midgardsormr is said to have traveled from in order to reach Hydaelyn, or if the names are coincidental. If it is intended to be the same star system, there is no physical way the Ishgardians could be observing the actual planet with an instrument so primitive. However, if the Dragons' sun itself were sufficiently bright or close (astronomically speaking), viewing that would be plausible. Furthermore, during Endwalker it is said that the planet itself was utterly destroyed. On the other hand, if the astroscope is magical rather than scientific, then anything could be possible.
