“One the steppe, there are few places to hide—something the muu shuwuu uses to its advantage while on the hunt. Once a potential meal has been spotted, this tenacious bird of prey will circle above for hours, waiting for even the slightest lapse in the hunted's concentration, at which time the muu will dive at impossible speed and snatch up its quarry with talons strong enough to lift a dzo.
