Description
This specimen's name derives from its slender, cylindrical form, as well as several recorded instances of lodesmen losing their quills overboard and resorting to questionable measures to replace them. One has to pity the luckless wavekin hauled from the depths and subjected to multiple snout-first inkwell dippings.
