Lore
"Honestly, I don't understand how he can remain unmoved by the clang, clang, clang of the trolley. Or the ding, ding, ding of the bells."
Friend to Thaffe and only one year younger, Jeryk proudly considers himself a trolley engineer despite the fact that he has spent most of his working life as a repairman, occasionally putting his dexterity to use in trimming the bangs of Twine's residents. Such is his love for the vehicle that his first word was "trolley," and when his family abandoned their inn and left Twine for more profitable work elsewhere, Jeryk chose to remain in his hometown and let his trolley-related hopes spur him onwards. Now that the device is operational, Jeryk is living his dream-but only a fool would think this ambitious Hume has arrived at his vocational destination, as Jeryk is resolute that when it comes to trolleys, more is more.
