“Largely inhabiting the island of Kholusia, these stocky birds are thought to be related to the Source's dodo, as not only are they similar in appearance, but they also spew a poisonous gas when threatened. Perhaps this miasma, much like the rail's plumage, differs slightly from that of tis kin in the Source—though none have yet been willing to breathe deeply enough to find one.
