Algol is weak to

The arena is surrounded by an AoE that will instantly kill anyone who touches it.

| Cursed Screech | Algol will move to the north edge of the arena and use a magical raidwide attack that will unearth several untargetable Crescent Tomatoes and Crescent Onions. |
| Shrill Peal | Magical raidwide damage and stuns all of the mandragoras. |
| Inhale | Algol uses a telegraphed conal AoE that will suck in either a Crescent Tomato (red) or Crescent Onion (yellow). Any players hit will be sucked in and briefly stunned. |
| Devour | Algol uses a short telegraphed frontal conal AoE that consumes the mandragora and affects its next mechanic.
If a Crescent Onion was consumed, a marker from the middle of the arena will emit three narrow conal AoEs that will rotate clockwise in subsequent late-telegraphed cones. Dodge into the first set to be safe from the remaining. If a Crescent Tomato was consumed, a marker from the middle of the arena will emit a plus-shaped formation of four AoEs that will cascade outwards in subsequent late-telegraphed lines. Players can either dodge into the middle intersection (outside of melee range), or dodge into the the first set in melee range, then dodge into the third set of lines. |

| Spinning Inhale | Algol will use a conal AoE that will rotate in the direction of the arrows, sucking up most of the mandragoras. This is followed up by three telegraphed Devour attacks to consume all of them. |
| Digested Juice | Algol uses a telegraphed frontal 180 degree cleave, then another telegraphed 180 cleave that is 45 degrees offset from the previous one. This is immediately followed by a telegraphed point-blank AoE (Malady). |
| Devour | Similar to the first set of Devours, but this time, Algol will inhale two mandaragoras of the same color, which will double the number of follow-up AoEs.
If two Crescent Onions were consumed, the conal AoEs will cover half of the arena in an alternating pattern, followed by cones hitting the previous safe areas. Dodge into the previous sets once they resolve. If two Crescent Tomatoes were consumed, there will be eight line AoEs in a star formation. Players can either dodge into the outer intersection of two lines, then step back again (outside of melee range), or dodge into the first set in melee range, then move back a good distance towards the center to dodge the third set. |
