I Found That: Miner II is an achievement.

Notes

• The following items count:
  • Most standard leveling items.
  • Items that require Tomes of Regional Folklore.
  •  Collectables that are used for Aetherial Reduction. (Also note that Prime and Sublime versions of an item are counted as separate items.)

• The following items will not count:
  • Elemental shards/crystals/clusters (both Botanist and Miner can collect these)
  • Pigments for crafting dyes (both Botanist and Miner can collect these)
  • Grade 1 Carbonized Matter (both Botanist and Miner can collect this)
  •  Collectables for any purpose other than Aetherial Reduction.
  • Items in the "sidequests" category.

• Most items are trivial to collect - the only ones that require extra effort are hidden items, and items on timed nodes.
  • Hidden items can be forced to appear on the correct nodes by using Luck of the Mountaineer. This action is unlocked by completing the level 55 class quest.
  • For timed nodes, it is recommended to set up alarms for when they spawn. Teamcraft's website is effective for this.
