Auracite is an artifact manifesting in various forms.
About
Auracite is a material which looks similar to crystals, but has different functions. Currently, 4 forms are known:
- Auracaite
- White Auracite
- Black Auracite
- Synthetic Auracite
- Memoria
Functions
Auracite in it's purest form has been brought to the Star by Ultima, the High Seraph.
Ohter Auracite
White Auracite
White Auracite has been developed by Moenbryda and Urianger to capture the aether of Ascians, allowing them to be destroyed.
Black Auracite
The only known presence of Black Auracite is the Heart of Sabik.
Synthetic Auracite
Developed by the Garlean Empire, it has been the core function of the Ultima Weapon-based Anti-Eikon Warmachina prototypes - also known as Weapons Project - during the Sorrow of Werlyt. The Synthetic Auracite System is based on the Heart of Sabik and generates an imprint of combat data[1], overriding the "organic core" (the pilot of the warmachina) with memories and skills of Garlean Legati. The weapons and project was lead by Valens van Varro[2]
Memoria
Memoria crystals are found on the Thirteenth.
