Journal

  • Rral Soj could light a forge with the fire burning in her eyes.
  • Rral Soj has tasked you with crafting ceremonial censers for the palace.
    • ※Minimum collectability rating for this delivery is 260. Delivering items with a rating of 530 or more will earn greater rewards.
  • You deliver the ceremonial censers to Rral Soj, who then presents the assembled devices to the palace seer. The individual is so pleased by their quality that they return with Rral Soj, both to thank everyone involved in their creation and to request that the three of you craft something for the royal family. Rral Soj heartily accepts the request, and should it become official, this will be XRral Soj Metalwares first royal appointment. The proprietress asks that you stay just a bit longer, as this could be a turning point for her store.

Dialogue

In order to undertake the subsequent quest, you must first complete the main scenario quest “Together as One.”
One moment I'm trying to renew my contract as a potsworn, the next I'm asking to resume my duties here... I hope you can forgive my indecisive behavior.
I'm truly grateful to Mistress Rral Soj. Though I'm not ashamed of the love and care I put into everything I craft, I also do not wish to burden her. Yet if our respective strengths can compensate for the other's weaknesses, I can think of no place I would rather be!
Good to see you, Forename.
Papawni and I've finished discussin' how we might go about usin' our strengths to complement each other.
We came to the conclusion that together, we can craft first-rate metalwares—the sort which I never would've considered craftin' in the past. As a result, I decided to accept a special order.
I heard through an ol' acquaintance that a palace seer was looking for an artisan to craft a censer for their ceremonial practices. Told 'em I'd be happy to oblige.
It'd be a trifle to craft were it a simple censer, but seeing as it's for ritual use, I believe it will require delicate and precise ornamentation.
Which is why Mistress Rral Soj and I have decided to split up the task thus: she shall prepare the molds, while I oversee the censers' decoration and finishing touches.
That said, we're still gettin' used to this whole dance o' tandem craftin'. Bound to step on each other's toes till we find a sense o' harmony. We'd like you to make a number o' censers to ensure that no matter what happens, we meet our deadline.
The design o' censers where you're from may look different from those in the palace, but a quality work is a quality work. I'm confident the seer will be happy to use any that an artisan of your talent can make.
Much as Mistress Rral Soj said, this will be a dance of sorts. Once she prepares a mold, I shall see to its ornamentation. In the meantime, she'll begin preparing the next mold, and so our “dance” will continue.
Countin' on you for those censers. As they're for ceremonial use, they'll need to be not only easy to employ, but elaborate in design as well.
I've little experience with craftin' censers, but even I can tell this is exemplary work. My thanks, Forename.
Well I'll be damned, this may be some o' the finest work I've ever seen. Should be easy for the seers to use, and the ornamentation is flawless to boot. You've truly outdone yourself, Forename.
The quality o' your work sets an example any artisan would be a fool not to follow. As always, I'm grateful for your help.
For a blessin', Papawni and I were able to find our rhythm, and prepared a few censers ourselves.
Indeed! If we work together, I've no doubt we can fulfill any request that comes our way!
Still, to think you were able to prepare so many on your own. I'm thoroughly impressed.
Goes to show how diligently you must've honed your craft before crossin' the salt here. I've learned a great deal from seein' you work.
Anyroad, I'd best get these delivered, lest I tarnish the good name o' my shop. I'd appreciate it if you both wait here. Shouldn't be long.
I've good news, both of you! With us here is none other than the palace seer who made the order. They were so moved by the quality of our work that they wished to thank everyone involved directly.
I've never seen censers of such marvelous make in all my days at the palace. Not only do they function perfectly, but each one is simply exquisite. They are most beautifully designed.
The burning of incense is essential to our rites, but many of our censers were destroyed during the invasion. We were in dire straits, but thanks to your swift and masterful work, we can resume our practices again.
I'm glad we were able to be of help.
Indeed, work of such quality I daresay is fit for a queen. And with that said... I would ask you and your team to prepare something for the royal family—if such work would interest you.
I can return to the palace and make arrangements forthwith for a formal request. What do you say?
You honor us. It would be our pleasure!
Wonderful. Then I shall return immediately and begin the necessary procedures. I'll be in touch.
If the royal family themselves use the metalwares we craft, wouldn't that make us purveyors to the royal court!?
That it would. I was surprised to receive a personal request from the seer in the first place, but to think we may soon craft metalwares used by the likes of Vow Wuk Lamat and Vow Koana...
Should they truly make a formal request, this will be our first appointment by the royal palace.
I know full well this is a job Papawni and I should tackle alone, but a request o' this magnitude can affect the very fate o' XRral Soj Metalwares. I want to deliver nothin' but the very best we have to offer. To do that, I need your help. Will you stick by us for just a bit longer?
Rral Soj is thrilled with your efforts. She now considers you a Master of Metal!
A new quest continuing the story of XRral Soj Metalwares is now available. Speak with Rral Soj as a level 100 or above blacksmith, armorer, or goldsmith to undertake the quest.
