White Wind
“Restores own HP and the HP of all nearby party members by an amount equal to your current HP.
— In-game description
White Wind is an action unlocked at level 1. It is available for Blue Mage.
Flavor Text
White Wind imbues a localized current of air with purified aether, distributing its curative effects throughout the vicinity. Though powerful for such a simple spell, the purification of sufficient aether requires significant magical exertion on the part of the caster, and thus should be used sparingly.

Tips
Acquisition Tips
- The most common way of learning this spell is through the Whalaque totem. It is also an obscure drop from certain enemies (see Trivia section below).
- After obtaining the totem, it must be used in order to learn the White Wind spell.
Other Tips
- This action generates a significant amount of enmity and costs a great amount of MP.
- For this reason, blue mages mimicking a healer should use this action sparingly and as a back-up to other healing spells.
- Executing this action under the effect of Mighty Guard (preferably when mimicking a tank) is the ideal method of gaining enmity.
- Because health restoration is equal to the blue mage's current HP, it is much more effective at higher HP amounts.
History
Patch 4.5 (2019-01-08): Added.
Trivia
- While possible, but not recommended, Enkidu in Battle in the Big Keep can drop the spell [1][2][3]
- Learning 10 Blue Magic Spells is a simpler way to learn White Wind than from Enkidu.
- Entering the trial with both Undersized Party and Level Sync selected does not guarantee the spell will be learned. This may be unintended behavior, as this is the only spell known to behave this way.
- White Flame from Deltascape V3.0 (Savage) is another obscure source.[4]
- Learning 10 Blue Magic Spells is a simpler way to learn White Wind than from White Flame.
- Like White Wind from Enkidu, entering the trial with both Undersized Party and Level Sync selected does not guarantee the spell will be learned.
