This is the documentation subpage of Template:Project. It contains usage information that is not part of the underlying template page.

Defines a wiki project. Projects are coordinated efforts to improve specific areas of the wiki; a list of all projects can be found on the wiki's to-do list.

To start a new project, create a new page in the FFXIV Wiki namespace and use this template at the top of the page. This template only contains very basic details about a project; your project page should likely contain further information (goals, tasks, background information, etc.) underneath this template as well.

Parameters

description (unnamed parameter 1)

A short description of the purpose or goal of the project.

status

The current status of the project - proposal, planning, in progress, on hold, etc.

members

A list of users who are involved with the project, usernames separated by commas. List at least one username, usually your own; others can express interest in contributing by simply by adding themselves to this list.

discord

By default, this template will generate a link to the project's talk page. If a lot of the planning/discussion around the project is happening off-wiki in a Discord thread, set this parameter to a link to the thread so others can find it easily.
