Defines a wiki project. Projects are coordinated efforts to improve specific areas of the wiki; a list of all projects can be found on the wiki's to-do list.
To start a new project, create a new page in the FFXIV Wiki namespace and use this template at the top of the page. This template only contains very basic details about a project; your project page should likely contain further information (goals, tasks, background information, etc.) underneath this template as well.
Lists of projects can be shown with {{wiki projects table}}.
Parameters
- description (unnamed parameter 1)
- A short description of the purpose or goal of the project.
- status
- The current status of the project - proposal, planning, in progress, on hold, etc.
- members
- A list of users who are involved with the project, usernames separated by commas. List at least one username, usually your own; others can express interest in contributing by simply by adding themselves to this list.
- discord
- By default, this template will generate a link to the project's talk page. If a lot of the planning/discussion around the project is happening off-wiki in a Discord thread, set this parameter to a link to the thread so others can find it easily.
- updated
- Optional. The date when the project was last updated. This is automatically set to the project page's last edit date, which is usually what you want. However, you may want to manually set this when updating a project's status to "complete," so that future page updates don't change the date the project was completed.
