Template:Limited Time Event Ended/doc

This is the documentation subpage of Template:Limited Time Event Ended. It contains usage information that is not part of the underlying template page.

Use this at the top of articles or sections about special limited time events that have ended. For removed content that is not part of a special event, use the "Retired" template instead.

Template parameters

This template prefers block formatting of parameters.

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
Start date	startdate	Starting date of the event. A patch link can also be provided in addition to the date if desired. If the event has had multiple runs, use the dates for the '''first run''' here. Put rerun dates in description1 or description2. Example January 2, 2026	String	required

Use section	usesection	Set to true if the template refers to a section rather than the entire article.	Boolean	optional

IP Owner	ip-owner	If the event contains intellectual property licensed from another company (I.e. not Square Enix), enter the owner's here. Otherwise, leave blank.	String	optional
