Lore

"I can picture it now—the ultimate clash of blue magic!"

An up-and-coming entrepreneur based in Ul'dah, Royse is the proprietor of the Celestium, an arena that pits man against beast, and features performances from Martyn and his disciples in its Masked Carnivale. Her hunch that the Royalist owner of the Coliseum would be tolerant of such competition proved correct, and word of the Celestium spread far and wide. So far, in fact, that its accolades reached the ears of Syndicate member Fyrgeiss, who hatched a harebrained plot to seize the Celestium and use the arena's voidsent to protect his assets. Unfazed by the status and resources of her would-be usurper, Royse yet remains in control of her establishment, turning even Fyrgeiss's scheming into profit.
