Realmships
Realmships - or Fimm Himnar - are the large sky vessels the people of the Fourth live on after the world was frozen solid. They are also called "the five firmaments left to mankind"[1].
About
The Realmships were constructed after the world froze over 500 years ago. Each Realmship is dedicated to an element. Despite it being cold in the high skies, the vessel's ward provides relative comfort to the inhabitants[2].
Currently, the following realmships are known:
- Naglfar, Realmship of Water, with the city of Fargarth.
- Hringhorni, Realmship of Fire
A magick bounds the inhabitants by birth to it's realmship, called brand[3]. Encountering a person from another realmship with a different brand will seize up their hearts and cause death[4]. The magick is to control ressources as well as population and their movement. It has been introduced as the people start living on the realmships[5].

Etymology
Fimm Himnar means "Five Heavens", from the icelandic/old-nordic "Fimm" meaning "five"[6], and from "himnar", plural of "himinn" meaning "heaven"[7].
