Legatus of the Ist Legion, Quintus dedicated the better part of his sixty summers to serving his homeland. The Ist Legion's primary duty was to attend the Emperor himself, and in times of peace, the legatus was stationed at the capital to act as an advisor to His Radiance.
Though he oft claimed he was past his prime as a soldier, few were as dedicated to Solus's never-ending conquest, and the legatus did not hesitate to support Varis during the war of succession. Even his private interests—most notably, his collection of historic firearms—never strayed far from his career.
Quintus believed that Garlemald alone could bring order to the world, but the devastation wrought by the civil war and the Telophoroi shook him to the core. Faced with the fall of his beloved Empire and the determination of the Ilsabard contingent, Quintus chose to take his own life, his final thoughts lost to history.
