Pteraketos

This large whale spends its life wandering ocean waters. Though it oft travels via leisurely swimming, the pteraketos can also use its fins as aether-borne wings to propel its massive bulk through the air. On its head is a large organ within which it stores ambient aether, enabling the usually docile wavekin to defend itself with powerful bursts of magical energy.
