“Melodie worked as a maid to an Ishgardian nobleman who often treated her with cruelty. She fled to Idyllshire and soon met Adkiragh, the owner of The Hard Place. It was there that Adkiragh helped Melodie elude the men that her former employer had sent after her. After this, she offered her services to The Hard Place out of gratitude.
