Lore
"Although he has trouble expressing it, I assure you, my brother is absolutely giddy with joy."
Maira resided in Elpis with her older brother Alkaios, the two of them sharing a passion for their work as observers. While she was considered gentle and empathetic by ancient standards, her concern for the creations of Elpis did not stretch as far as Hermes's, for she had made her peace with the fact that not every concept would survive the testing grounds.
The observer became acquainted with Venat upon the latter's visit to Elpis, and came to see her as a role model. Maira often urged the former Azem to drop by for tea, that she might hear tales of adventure from across the star. When not busy with her work, Maira liked to walk among krinoi, her favorite flowers, and pick a few to bring back to her abode.
