Lore
"Your mortal frame brims with vital energies. An irresistible feast."
Known to some as Lambard the Regal, this Highlander of just over forty winters fought with the valiant Crimson Duelists to liberate Ala Mhigo two decades prior, only to one day turn upon his fellow red mages, slaughtering them in cold blood. One plausible theory at the time claimed that he was bought out by the Garleans, but his disappearance made this impossible to confirm. Years later, the man long thought dead appeared before his erstwhile comrade X'rhun Tia, and the truth was at long last revealed—Lambard was a descendant of the Calowise family, a line that traces its ancestry back to a Mhachi archmagus who forged an infernal pact with the voidsent Lilith, dooming his progeny to gather the life force of those around them at their unholy mistress’s behest.

Soulsteal
A fearsome technique employed by Lambard to suck aetherial energies from the wounds of his mortal victims. His mastery of this and other dreadful magicks served as incontrovertible proof that the blood of the voidsent Lilith ran through his veins.
