Ty'at Roh would share the bounty of the forest with his village.

— In-game description

Steps

Journal

  • Ty'at Roh would share the bounty of the forest with his village.
  • While Ty'at Roh is eager to test his—and your—mettle in the hunters' trial, you must both return with your quarries. Ty'at Roh offers to cut the meat into manageable portions, and he asks you to distribute them around the village. He leaves to start his work, and bids you to find him when you are ready to commence yours.
    • ※Please note that the difficulty of this quest has been synced to your current level.
  • Ty'at Roh has separated your catch into the proper parts and says that the best pelt and bone are meant for the village's weaponsmith, while the meat is meant for one Ty'at Ilyik. He will distribute the rest of the catch to others in the village, so that nothing goes to waste.
  • You deliver the spoils of the hunt as directed. The villagers speak of how the Brethren of Br'aax have their hands full, though it remains to be seen what occupies their time. Ty'at Roh is doubtless awaiting your return to hear what the recipients of his gifts had to say.
  • Ty'at Roh seems in high spirits, for he informs you that he ran into one of the Brethren of Br'aax during his delivery. The seasoned hunter accepted Ty'at Roh's petition to take the trial. With a new chapter of his life opening before him, the young Xbr'aal must steel his nerves for what is sure to be a trying test of his skills.

Dialogue

Accepting the quest

Ty'at Roh: Now that I have another hunt under my belt and a worthy partner, I can finally ask the brethren to let me undertake their trial.
Ty'at Roh: But first, we have to bring our catch back to the village and divvy it up! Why don't you help pass it around? I'm sure everyone will be overjoyed to get a delivery from none other than the Third Promise's companion.
Ty'at Roh: Don't worry, I'll take care of the messy part and cut our quarry up into the proper portions. Meet me in the village when you're ready!

Speak with Ty'at Roh

Ty'at Roh: Ready to get these bits and pieces into the right hands? Good, because I've just finished separating them.
Ty'at Roh: I want you to bring the best pelt and bone of the bunch to the weaponsmith. He's always taken good care of me, and I'd like to repay him in some small way.
Ty'at Roh: Ty'at Ilyik gets the meat. She's the wife of one of the brethren's fiercest hunters, and if I'm going to join them, I'd best pay my respects.
Ty'at Roh: As for the rest, I know more than a few of the village's matrons who would love something special to feed their families. I'll handle that─give the others my regards, Forename!

Optional Dialogue

Ty'at Roh: You'd best deliver those parts before they spoil─I'd hate for a day's hunt to go to waste.

Deliver the ty'aitya bone and ty'aitya pelt to the taciturn weaponsmith

Taciturn Weaponsmith: Aye, I'm the weaponsmith here. You say you have something from Ty'at Roh?
Taciturn Weaponsmith: Ah, these are excellent! See this needle-shaped bone? It supports the ty'aitya's webbed wings and can be carved into deadly spear tips. The pelt is surprisingly sturdy, as well.
Taciturn Weaponsmith: The Brethren of Br'aax have been ordering more equipment lately, and supplies are running low. This will help us meet their needs for a while longer. Give Ty'at Roh my thanks, will you?

Optional Dialogue

Taciturn Weaponsmith: The Brethren of Br'aax have had great need of reliable equipment lately. I was afraid I would soon be unable to meet this need, but Ty'at Roh has ensured that my work can go on uninterrupted.

Deliver the chunk of ty'aitya meat to Ty'at Ilyik

Ty'at Ilyik: Oh, hello. Are you looking for Rral Vaw? I'm afraid his duties have taken him away for a while...
Ty'at Ilyik: Oh? This is from Ty'at Roh? It looks delectable─I think I'll serve it tonight, in fact!
Ty'at Ilyik: Speaking of which, when is young Ty'at Roh planning on undertaking the trial? Rral Vaw was supposed to be his partner, but lately the brethren have had their hands full...
Ty'at Ilyik: I only hope their work settles down soon, but who can say when that will be?

Optional Dialogue

Ty'at Ilyik: The brethren have barely had time to rest... I only hope that things can return to normal, and soon.

Speak with Ty'at Roh

Ty'at Roh: So, how were the old man and Ty'at Ilyik? I hope they enjoyed their gifts. I can say for certain that the matrons did!
Ty'at Roh: It's customary for hunters to share their catch with the whole village. It makes us all one big happy family!
Ty'at Roh: And guess what? While I was on my errand, I ran into one of the brethren. I told him I was ready for the trial, and he accepted! He said to be ready soon─ohhh, now I'm starting to get nervous!
