"There's no stopping the Holyfist!"

Master of the Pugilists' Guild, Hamon is a lusty Midlander who has claimed to be of sixty summers for no less than the last decade. Yet, in his heyday, he was a fighter of no small skill, flyers bearing the "Holyfist's" likeness plastered all across the city before his matches. His particular style—combining powerful punches and kicks to send his opponents reeling—has influenced a great many pugilists.

— In-game description

Hamon is a Hyur in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald.
