“"If your hells are real, I saw one that day."
Raised in close proximity to the capital, Licinia was a privileged young woman; her mother was a singer, and her father a musician. Her sickly younger sister, Fulvia, required constant care and medicine, but the two were inseparable, often seen laughing over bowls of Eblan ukha.
Licinia attended a local school, delighting in her favorite subjects and dismissing those she disliked. She was taught to be proud of her Garlean heritage—to be grateful that she was born in the heart of civilization, and not in a distant city-state of the "foreign savages." When she had time to daydream, her thoughts perhaps turned to her childhood friend Manius, and what life would be like if the two were wed.
She would never know, for in the wake of Garlemald's downfall, she perished in the snow together with her sister. She had barely reached her eighteenth nameday.
