Part 1: Emergency Mission Spawn

The Emergency Mission will spawn randomly at different times. Sometimes it doesn't even spawn at all. All 'triggers' are still yet to be confirmed. It has also never spawned more than once in a single encounter so far.

You'll know the Emergency Mission has spawned when the weather changes - and you'll get a big notification in your screen. When the Emergency Mission spawns, people will start shouting the location you have to go to. Just enter there. When you open the map, its at "The Missing Gem" and there's a pinned location called the "Mhachi Portal".

NOTE: The boss fight itself is easy, BUT REQUIRES coordination among the groups in Diadem. No coordination = sure wipe = waste of time. So listen to the shouts and don't just rush in.

Part 2: Pre-Fight Coordination

Now here's exactly what happens when you enter.

  • You will see a 'wall like boss'. Just burn it down. Easy.
  • Next you will see 4 portals. One in the north (ice), west (lightning), east (wind) and center (arcane). This represents where you will teleport to, in the next map.

This is where coordination will be needed. Each group needs to call out a side and enter from that side.

  • Make sure that all 3 sides are called out by at least one group.
  • The rest of the people can take the center crystal.

Upon interacting with the crystals, you will be teleported to the actual boss fight. Do not teleport in yet if people are still assigning spots in the shout chat box.

Part 3: The "Big Boss Fight"

Again there will be two types of groups. The people assigned to a SIDE (north, west, east portal) and people going in CENTER crystal.

Part 3a: Guide for those in the SIDES (Entering the North, West & East Crystals)

  • Upon teleportation, you will see a high circular platform with a "Legatus" add. Tanks GRAB this add and healers heal. While the DPS can go help out in the middle first to kill the "Presidential Hounds".
  • Periodically, 2 adds called "Woe of Mhach" will spawn and attempt to go the middle of the room. Kill those adds before they reach the center of the room.

Special Mechanics Per Legatus

Each legatus will have a different mechanic.

  • Lightning Legatus spawns the "Warmth of Mhachi" that does a circular AOE. Safespot is on it, or very far from it. Ice Legatus spawns "Wail of Mchaci" that casts a raid wide spell. Kill it before the cast is over. Kill these asap. Wind Legatus does a stack mechanic where everyone gathers.

To Tanks: If someone prematurely aggros the "Legatus" add, grab it and take it on the high platforms. Never allow it to be on the center of the room. It does AOE damage, which can affect other groups if you let it go to the center.

To Healers: Never let the tank die. Fast DPS is not a priority. But roaming adds will kill the whole raid.

To DPS: Priorities are as follows. Help out in middle. Kill the "Presidential Hounds". Kill the "Woe of Mhachi's" don't let it reach center of the room. Kill the AOE add. Then burn down the "Legatus" add.

To Non-Tanks - if your tank dies and you get boss aggro, STAY on your side and platform. Never let the big add go to the center of the room.

To Others - If you die, just respawn and don't wait for a resurrect. You will respawn nearby and can easily re-enter the battle area. Do not let the group wipe because that will result to mission failure.

  • Once the Legatus add is killed, go to the edge of your high platform. You will see an "Elementally Amplified Crystal". Destroy it to remove buffs from the boss that will spawn later.

That's the role of the "Side Groups". When you're done with your crystal, go help out others.

Part 3B: Guide for Those Assigned in CENTER (or not really assigned to any side)

  • Upon teleportation you will be at the center of the arena. You will see 2 "Presidential Hounds" and other mobs and a "Binding Crystal".
  • Adds will try to kill that Binding Crystal. If destroyed, it will release "Buer" the actual big boss in this encounter.
  • The goal of the CENTER team is to delay this for as long as possible, while the side teams destroy the other adds and "Elementally Amplified Crystals". If Buer spawns and crystals are still up, Buer can one-shot everyone - making it extremely hard to recover.
  • So tanks grab the 2 hounds, healers heal through the damage, and DPS, DPS.
  • If any adds get through from the side teams just kill it.
  • If you are on the center team, and a "Legatus" add gets aggro on you because the side team screwed up, pull it back up on the higher platforms. Don't let it stay at center.
  • If center room is already clear, help out the SIDE teams to kill the "Legatus" mobs.

Part 4: BUER - The Actual Fight

Once Buer spawns it's a basic tank and spank fight. Preferably all adds and crystals should be down at that point. If not yet, then just rush to kill the Crystals and other adds first. Buer's Mechanics are as follows:

  • Buer does raid wide damage - just heal through it.
  • There is also a portion of the fight where the floor lights up and meteors drop and do raid wide damage. Just stand on the lighted floors with at least 6 people and you won't get damaged during this part.
  • The rest of the AOEs are easily dodgeable. Just pay attention to the floor.

Part 5: The Loot

When you defeat Buer, a treasure will spawn in the middle of the map. Make sure to click it.

These are your INDIVIDUAL rewards: Coven Weapons (i280), Sunburst Armor and Sunburst Accessories (i265). And this is how you get the i280 weapon (Coven Weapons). The weapon type/class is random. You do NOT need to roll against anyone here. All the items go directly to your inventory.

The i280 weapon stats itself are random. But Weapon Damage is higher than the i275 - making these items most likely the new Best in Slot.

Part 6: The RNG Grind

  • To date there have been no 2 EM spawns per one voyage. So if an EM already spawns, (and you're just in it for the EM's anyway) - feel free to leave after the EM and after you complete your initial mission so you avoid the penalty.
  • Lastly, remember to have fun! If you're getting burned out - take a break!
