Companion App

The FFXIV Companion App is the official mobile app (iPhone/Android) that allows players to manage various game features such as retainer ventures and marketboard purchases or sales. Both a free and paid version are available. The app launched on August 14, 2018.

In-game bonuses

Both the free and paid versions provide several in-game bonuses:

• An additional "favored" Teleport destination
• The Tomestone and Tomescroll emotes
• The Companion 1 and Companion 2 adventurer plates

Paid features

The paid version ($5 USD/month) provides additional features including:

• An additional retainer (beyond the normal limit of 9 retainers)
• And additional Chocobo Saddlebag (70 item slots)
