By the First's calendar, it was around three years ago that these unusual stray eaters—entities bearing an uncanny resemblance to the much-maligned Warriors of Light—were first spotted. It fell to the Warrior of Darkness, alongside determined bounty hunters, to uncover the truth: that these strays were, in fact, created from the decayed remains of those decades-dead adventurers. An abomination most likely perpetrated by the Lightwarden Lord Vauthry, the Cardinal Virtues behaved as if driven by the desires of their former lives. Curiously, a barmaid working at the tavern frequented by the bounty hunters is credited with bestowing the eaters their distinctive names.
