The Belah'dian Civil War took place from the year 964 to the year 969 and was a bid by the children of the sultan of Belah'dia, King Sasagan I and King Sasawefu. Following their father falling ill and being confined to his bed, both siblings asserted their claim to the throne, dividing the nations forces to do battle for them. These battles became more intense and destructive following his death, with each launching violent attacks on one another's people until the city-state was torn apart and divided into the sister cities of Ul'dah and Sil'dih.
