Admiral Elilwaen

Admiral Elilwaen was the first admiral of Limsa Lominsa, and led his people in building the settlement. When Kobolds attacked the settlements of Western La Noscea, he led the charge against them and was successful in routing them. He and the other Lominsians used the skulls of their enemies to line the path to Upper La Noscea, dubbing the area Skull Valley as a warning to their foes. Twenty two years later, Admiral Elilwaen succumbed to an unknown disease, but it is believed to have been Lung Rot. In his will, he appointed Tragghyr the Cold as his successor, beginning the tradition of Admiral's being appointed.

Elilwaen's name means "Exiled Wind" in the traditional Roegadyn language.
