Video Archive removal
Hello, please stop removing the video archives, or you will be blocked.
I understand you feel strongly about the issue but the general consensus between multiple editors is that the videos are the most comprehensive representation we have with quests. I encourage you to share your thoughts on Discord. - Dr Agon (talk) 14:32, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
- "I encourage you to share your thoughts". How so very customer service. The ultimate insincerity. I already know this is a lost cause. Our species is a lost cause. I already know that entropy is ultimately what is going to win out. I already know that the winning position is for these horrible fan videos to shit all over the legacy of this game. I already know that enshittification is the way of things, and Idiocracy is well and truly here "I don't see anything! Looks the same to me dude! I also use motion smoothing on my TV and it looks great! Don't be a [ ] bro!" It's just so depressing to be a part of this species. I realize with startling clarity that I just am beginning to not give a shit about anything at all. Let it all collapse. Fucking really, just let it. It's a fictional game that's not even real anyways, and real world collapses will come to take that soon enough too. The fuck does some stupid words on a page matter at that point. - One final thought. I often wonder internally if I am wrong about this or that, including this very issue. I do understand this is a fan site, and undoubtedly should regard it as such, and not view it as some official documentation of the game. So perhaps you are right, and this is not something to pursue, and I should humbly back down on the issue of these deep-fried, sun-baked, slathered-in-cranberry-sauce videos. But then I stop myself, say wait a minute here, and quietly ask "did THEY ask themselves the same question? Do you really, honestly believe someone asked themselves if they were in the wrong? Did they spend any time at all on self-doubt? Who does that? Nobody does that. That's rarer than a unicorn. That requires sterner stuff than most people know. Everyone doubles down and never, ever, ever questions their own beliefs or admits error. That's not who we are. Especially those with some standing. Of course they just want to steamroll over friction. It's easier than facing something as terrifying as being wrong." And I just feel this creeping darkness take over, the realization that this is us. I need to escape it. I will be the one in the wrong. Haunt (talk) 15:33, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
