Walkthrough
If you are attempting this quest with a job(s) at a significantly higher level(s) than the quest itself, you must use a job at a lower level with one more closely related to the quest or reduce your stats to not essentially one-shot the mob. e.g. At level 100 if no lower level job is available to you. Unequip all gear including accessories and acquire a weapon with an ilvl of around 30. Do not use any damage dealing weaponskils or abilities and chip away with auto attacks. Once it is less than 25% you can use the Empty Blood Bottle key item.
Historical
This quest used to reward Sylvan Silk Belt, which is red and fits the journal entry's description of the gear. Belts were removed in patch 6.0, and the Cotton Robe now rewarded comes pre-dyed Dalamud Red.
Steps
- Use the empty blood bottles on weakened djiggas.
- Deliver the djigga blood to Knolexia.
- Obtain three vials of fresh blood from djiggas.
- (Use the empty vial on a djigga with only 25% or less HP remaining.)
Journal
- Knolexia wishes to show you her immense gratitude.
- Knolexia wishes to present you with a gift, but first asks that you bring her three bottles of djigga blood. Do so by using the bottles she provided you with on weakened swollen djiggas.
- You have procured the three bottles of djigga blood Knolexia requested. Deliver them to her at Little Solace.
- Using the djigga blood you have provided, Knolexia has created for you an enchanted garment to serve as a token of her appreciation. However, while you appreciate the gesture, it may take some time to get used to the idea of wearing vilekin blood as a good-luck charm.
