Template:Work in progress/doc

This is the documentation subpage of Template:Work in progress. It contains usage information that is not part of the underlying template.

A notice that a page (especially a template or module) is incomplete, actively being worked on, and may be subject to major changes in the near future. Such pages should not be relied on until the notice is removed by the user who placed it.

When adding this hatnote to a page, your signature (i.e. ~~~~) must be in the first parameter. This lets others know who's working on what. Additional information about the state of the work can be included before the signature if desired.

When used in template documentation, automatically adds Category:WIP templates to the page being documented.

• If using {{Documentation}} and a /doc subpage, place the hatnote on the documentation subpage, underneath the {{documentation subpage}} hatnote.
• Otherwise, include the hatnote directly in the template page inside a <noinclude> tag.
