Template:Quest video archive/doc

This is the documentation subpage of Template:Quest video archive. It contains usage information that is not part of the underlying template.

Usage

This template embeds a YouTube video, centered on the page, using the EmbedVideo extension. It is intended for video archives of in-game quest cutscenes and similar content.

Parameters

Parameter	Required	Default	Description
id	1	—	The YouTube video ID or short URL fragment. This is the string after youtu.be/ in a share link (e.g. dQw4w9WgXcQ).
description	0	Video Archive by Meowlo's FFXIV Quest Archive	A caption or description displayed beneath the embedded video.

Notes

• The video is always rendered centered on the page.
• This template has no visible output when used on its own template page (it is wrapped in <includeonly>).
• The default description credits Meowlo's FFXIV Quest Archive, the primary source for archived quest videos on this wiki. Override it with the description parameter when crediting a different source. For more information on guidelines for videos to use, see here.
