Template:Governments infobox/doc

This is the documentation subpage of Template:Governments infobox. It contains usage information that is not part of the underlying template.

The Governments infobox aims to give a structured overview for nations and governments within Final Fantasy XIV. The main part should be the name and the flag. Ideally, the infobox sets the flag thats already uploaded for the nation/government into the infobox, otherwise it should be found or uploaded.

Since changes in nations can appear, it is not recommended to put leaders or government types into the infobox. Currently allies and enemies are named as well, but its up to debate to remove them as well.

All fields must be filled. Currently, nothing is optional (display breaks if a field is emtpy, it's a WIP)

Name

The Name of the Nation/Government that is reflected, for example Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah, Radz-at-Han etc.

Flag

The Flag of the Nation. It will put the flag automatically if the flag has been uploaded before. If not, check the Name of the File and put it in manually.

ATTENTION: Do NOT upload a new flag file!

Current known cases: Ul'dah (Uldah Flag.PNG) and The Crystarium (Crystarium Flag.PNG)

Motto

The Motto of the nation. We mostly get to know mottos through EE or other sources, so some might not be known at the current point.

Region

The Region the Nation is in. Does not necessarily mean its the same region that is named in the game. Example: Limsa Lominsa - it's the landmass on Aldenard, but the city on Limsa Lominsa is seperated. The region itself is called Vylbrand, which is not reflected in the game.

Allies

Known allies of the Nation at the point of introduction. Seeing some allies and enemies change throughout the expansion or post-msq storyline. Changes should be reflected on the government page with tabbers.

Enemies

Same with allies.
