I'm a bit new to wiki pages and editing it, but the scouting/striking gear is actually a reference to Amarant's outfit from FFIX, while the scouting gear is just recolored into Zidane's colors.

And the healing/casing gear top is a reference to dagger's white mage hood from the beginning of FFIX, the boots, gloves, and legs are actually Vivi's pants, boots and gloves from FFIX, which is easier to see on the casting variation of it.
