Silicone inspiration

Until the story named electrope and went into detail about its history and the more arcane aspects of its properties, I honestly thought "the mysterious stone from the Golden City" might be silicone ^_^ plastic was another candidate I considered, cos it doesn't occur naturally (so neither the Eorzeans nor the Tulliyolans would be familiar with it) and the drone soldiers' armour superficially looks very plastic Alliekitten (talk) 17:03, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
