Hey! Didn't I see you in the Boyahda Tree? Get anything good from Aquarius?
— In-game description
Mithran Adventurer is a Mithra in Lower Jeuno.
This NPC comments on the player's glamour if they have specific items equipped. Players must have the actual item equipped, although a glamour can be applied on it, but not vice versa.
Dialogue
Mithran Adventurer: I'm something of a treasure hunter, and judging by your gear, I'd say you've claimed your fair share of spoils too.
| Item | Dialogue |
|---|---|
| Default | Hmmm... Or maybe not. If you happen to find anything interesting, I'd love to see it. |
| Shantotto's Staff | Say, isn't that a fire staff? A fine choice. I've heard it's Shantotto's favorite, though knowing her, she probably wields a Vulcan's Staff. |
| Wootz Cuirass (NQ only) | Is that...koenig armor!? How in the world did you get the abjuration to purify it? I tried for weeks to hunt one, but someone always beat me to the punch. |
| Wootz Mail (NQ only) | Getting your hands on Ares' armor is no mean feat. I don't know what's worse, the Qiqirn treasure hunters constantly running away, or the chariots and their homing missiles. |
| Kirin's Osode of Fending Kirin's Osode of Maiming Kirin's Osode of Striking Kirin's Osode of Scouting Kirin's Osode of Aiming |
Well I'll be damned... Kirin's Osode. My sympathies to the ninja that helped you get that. |
| Scorpion Harness | It's always nice to see a fellow adventurer who appreciates the merits of a scorpion harness. If only Serket didn't always leave a mountain of bodies in its wake... |
| Vermilion Cloak of Casting Vermilion Cloak of Healing |
That's a fine vermilion cloak you've got there. Were you one of the lucky ones who nabbed their cloth from Aquarius? I've heard rumors that the bastard doesn't drop it anymore. |
| Optical Hat | I hope you had an easier time summoning Hakutaku than I did. I thought my heart stopped the first time I failed making an eye cluster... |
| Emperor Hairpin | I like your hairpin. Brings back memories of my days hunting in Valkurm. The sounds of the beach were always so soothing. |
| Strider Boots | Nothing like a pair of strider boots to help make a quick exit, eh? |
| Cassie Earring | Is that a Cassie earring? It's beautiful to be sure, but I'm not sure it's worth dealing with such a nasty morbol. Just the thought of being drawn into its clutches makes my fur stand on end. |
| Ring of Lasting Shelter | <gasp> A defending ring! B-But they're so rare! I'm sure white mages are constantly falling over themselves to join your parties. |
| Post-appraisal | Well, I must say I'm impressed. If you happen to find anything else of interest, I'd love to see it. |

Trivia
- This NPC's outfit is based on a common Thief gearset from FFXI's level-75-cap era: Optical Hat, Scorpion Harness, Rogue's Culottes, and Strider Boots. The blue dagger may be referencing several blue daggers in FFXI, such as Misericorde, Hornetneedle, or Blau Dolch.
- Originally, this NPC wore Indigo Ramie Sarouel of Striking dyed green to approximate the pants, as it had no look-alike in FF14 like the other armor pieces. In Patch 7.5, a lookalike was added: Vana'dielian Culottes of Scouting. The NPC was retroactively updated to use this new piece.
- The NPC has only one dagger, referencing how Thieves could not dual wield until level 83 in FFXI (unless they set Ninja or Dancer as their sub job, which would allow it at level 20 or 40 respectively).
