A woodcutter of twenty-three summers, Mauwyl earns his keep harvesting lumber and herbs in Lakeland. His dear friend, Tolas, fell to melancholy after surviving a sin eater attack and, unsure of where to turn, Mauwyl approached a passing adventurer for advice. Through their combined efforts, Tolas was able to overcome the emotional scars that had plagued him.
