Notes

  • Only using Fell Cleave and Decimate will consume a stack of Inner Release.
  • Primal Rend Ready is only granted when Primal Rend is learned at Lv. 90.
  • This action is an additional way to mitigate knockback and draw-in effects in addition to Arm's Length.png  Arm's Length. In situations where Inner Strength is active but it is beneficial not have knockback immune (e.g., Phase 1 of Ultimate Raid Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate)), players can right-click the buff icon to remove it.
  • Not to be confused with the removed pugilist / monk action Internal Release.png  Internal Release.

  • EW.png Patch 6.1 (2022-04-12):
    • Stacks of Inner Release now only apply to Fell Cleave and Decimate.
    • The additional effect "Nullifies Stun, Sleep, Bind, Heavy, and most knockback and draw-in effects" has been changed to "Grants Inner Strength, nullifying Stun, Sleep, Bind, Heavy, and most knockback and draw-in effects."
  • EW.png Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
    • Now grants 3 stacks of Inner Release, each stack allowing the use of Beast Gauge actions without cost and guaranteeing that all attacks are critical and direct hits.
    • The additional effect "Guarantees that all attacks are critical and direct hits" has been changed to "Nullifies Stun, Sleep, Bind, Heavy, and most knockback and draw-in effects". The additional effect duration has been increased from 10 to 15 seconds.
    • The additional effect "Extends Storm's Eye duration by 15s to a maximum of 60s" has been changed to "Extends Surging Tempest duration by 10s to a maximum of 60s".
    • Upon learning Primal Rend.png  Primal Rend, the additional effect "grants Primal Rend Ready" has been added, with a duration of 30 seconds.
  • SHB.png Patch 5.3 (2020-08-11): The additional effect "Extends Storm's Eye duration by 15s to a maximum of 60s" has been added.
  • SHB.png Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02): No longer requires the effect of Defiance.png  Defiance or Deliverance.png  Deliverance.
