Flavor Text

Ink Jet can be considered a more advanced form of Water Cannon─fitting, as both come courtesy of the kraken. The spell infuses aetherially concentrated water with whatever impure substances are most readily available to create and expel a synthetic “ink,” blinding opponents.

Tips

Acquisition Tips

Kraken's attack is called Ink Blast and is an AoE attack. Simply dodge them and focus on killing the main body and Kraken arms, not the tentacles.

Other Tips

This spell is mostly useless, although it is used in the Masked Carnivale stage On a Clear Day You Can Smell Forever to dodge an otherwise nearly-unavoidable gaze attack.

History

Patch 5.1 (2019-10-29):
- Potency has been increased from 120 to 200.
- Potency will now be reduced by 50% after the first enemy.
Patch 4.55 (2019-02-11): Fixed an issue wherein the effect of Bristle was not removed after using Ink Jet.
