Lore
"We have been given strict orders to monitor all foreign vessels passing through this area. It is far more taxing than it sounds for, in addition to that, we must also contend with the Confederates."
This thirty-two-year-old Hyur is the third son of Clan Hatasashi, one of the lesser warrior houses[1]. With little prospect for inheriting the clan's leadership, Ikaruga was permitted to become a bakufu officer on the condition that he serve at the Ruby Price. Should he commit any major missteps over three years of service, however, his standing will be forfeit--thus does he put aside thoughts of the wife and young daughter he left behind, and remain focused on carrying out his duty.
