House Leveilleur is one of the most prestigious families of Sharlayan. The ancestors can be traced back to those who left Nyunkrepf's Arc, and were present when Sharlayan was founded. [1]
Nyunkrepf's pronouncement "Renounce the ways of war, and pursue enlightenment through knowledge and reason" has ever been the family creed of House Leveilleur.[2] This changed though with Louisoix, who lived by his own personal creed: "To ignore the plight of those one might conceivably save is not wisdom─it is indolence."
His grand-children Alisaie and Alphinaud Leveilleur adapted this creed, which will cause tension with their father Fourchenault - even temporarily disowning them of their name. [3] However, the events of the Final Days brought the family back together[4].
