Introduction
“Goldsmiths work precious metals and stones into a multitude of accessories that appeal to the Eorzean aesthetic. Their wide-ranging finery, painstakingly fashioned from delicate metals and gemstones, can be see adorning the ears, fingers, and necks of the distinguished everywhere.
Ul'dahn goldsmiths always have a ready supply of raw materials, owing to the vast mineral resources of Thanalan. Due to the high value of these resources, however, most artisans also make it their business to stay abreast of market trends.— [1]
Goldsmiths (GSM) are Disciples of the Hand that use metals and gems to create accessories such as rings, earrings and necklaces for every class in the game. They are also capable of crafting various weapons and equipment, such as staves for Black Mages, hora for Monks, needles for Weavers, and much more.
General Information
Guild
Any player with at least one level 10 Disciple of War or Magic is eligible to become a Goldsmith. The Goldsmiths' Guild is located in Ul'dah. Speak with the receptionist to start the first quest.

Goldsmiths utilize various hammers as their primary tool and grinding wheels as their secondary tool. Hammers are crafted by Blacksmiths, while grinding wheels are crafted by Carpenters.
