Tips and Tricks
The separators in the attack names denote that the attack's name changes from the first to the second while Frostmane is built up. This also increases the attacks' area of effect and damage dealt, and removes any orange telegraph markers the attack had. Any attack without a separator is unchanged when the boss is built up.
- Tail Swing / Heavy Tail Swing: A circle AoE centered on Frostmane. Indicated by Frostmane lifting its tail into the air.
- Tail Smash / Heavy Tail Smash: Frostmane will walk past a random player and swing its tail in the form of a short-range cone AoE from its rear. Indicated by Frostmane lifting its tail into the air just like with Tail Swing, so watch the cast bar.
- Ripper Claw / Big Ripper Claw: A short cone AoE from Frostmane's front, indicated by it raising one of its claws into the air.
- Head Down / Brutal Beast Charge: Frostmane charges in a random direction as a line AoE, damaging and knocking back players hit. Indicated by Frostmane crouching down and shielding its front with its arm.
- Stool Pelt: A circle AoE targeted below a random player.
- Build Up: After a minute or two of combat, Frostmane will cast this ability, which increases the monster's size and grants many of its attacks larger areas of effect and higher damage for the rest of the FATE. While enlarged, Frostmane will buff itself with a 60-second
Damage Up every so often, which can be Dispelled.
