Notes
- The attributes of a covering permission are random, and are determined when the item is purchased.
- There is functionally no reason to buy this item instead of a
Covering Permission G8-F. This is because the pedigree of the child is equal to the lesser pedigree of the parents + 1, so as long as the retired chocobo is at least pedigree 8, then a covering permission of pedigree 8 or 9 will both produce a grade 9 child.
Used For
Main article: Chocobo Racing § Breeding
Can be used alongside a male retired racing chocobo (not another covering permission) to arrange a covering. This produces a fledgling chocobo, whose attributes depend on those of the parents.
Can only be used for 1 covering.
