Community Events

Final Fantasy XIV hosts a number of special community events, such as:

• fan festivals
• Design contests for gear, hairstyles and furnishings
• Crystalline Conflict Community Cups
• Various sweepstakes

Events are generally announced on The Lodestone, and players that participate have a chance to earn special in-game prizes. These prizes are usually exclusive to promotional events, and not available through normal gameplay.
