Special Chat Characters are symbols that exist in the font Final Fantasy XIV uses but are not included in most Unicode fonts because the belong to the Use Area section of the Unicode specification.

The following templates allow wiki editors to use these special characters without needing to find and copy the character from the Special chat characters page (which also improves readability when viewing the wiki code from the editor).
