“A jellyfish's ability to float can be attributed to the gas it holds within its dome-like body. By expelling this gas in controlled bursts, the creature achieves a limited form of flight. The trailing tendrils of this wavekin conceal stinging cells that are used to paralyze prey. The anemone, another member of the jellyfish family, has developed an organ that delivers a powerful electrical shock in place of the usual paralytic poison.
