Featuring a razor-toothed maw capable of engulfing a grown Lalafell whole, the elbst is a formidable sea creature that is believed in some scholarly circles to have evolved from the peiste. The Sahagin have recently taken to breeding and training the wavekin for use in their skirmishes with Limsa Lominsa, and will cut the webbing on the elbsts' feet to improve their speed on land.
